Producer: Rihanna Back In The Studio

LOS ANGELES, Calif.

Rihanna is back in the studio recording new material, producer Adonis Shropshire told entertainment site Hip Hollywood.

According to the producer, who has won Grammys for his work with artists such as Usher and Mariah Carey, Rihanna is using music as a refuge while dealing with the ongoing court case against her boyfriend, Chris Brown.

‘Watchmen’ Eyes No. 1 With $55.7M Box Office

“Watchmen” clocked in with $55.7 million in ticket sales to claim the top spot at the box office, making director Zack Snyder’s comic book adaptation about a team of twisted superheros the biggest opening of 2009 so far.

Still, it was not quite as big as the $70 million take of Snyder’s “300” in 2007.
